The wedding weekend will take place in the Tramuntana mountain region, on the north west coast of Mallorca. The Friday night will take place at Son Bunyola hotel near the town of Banyalbufar, and the wedding night will take place in our home, Son Simonet, in the town of Esporles. The Tramuntana area is ~35 minutes away from Palma, the capital city of Mallorca, and the airport.
Mallorca is a large island and taxis are limited. As such, we will be organizing transportation throughout the weekend from 3 core areas; Tramuntana region (including towns of Valldemossa, Banyalbufar, and Esporles), Palma, and an area on the seaside West of Palma. We strongly encourage you to stay in these areas and have included a list of hotels below. If you stay outside of these core areas, you will have to organize transportation directly with taxi companies or local car companies.

Tramuntana - Valldemossa, Banyalbufar, Esporles
The Tramuntana Mountains on the north coast of Mallorca will be the heart of the wedding weekend. If you would like a weekend of hiking, exploring the charming old town Valldemossa, and possibly boating on the magnificent northern coast of Mallorca, then this region is for you. If you do choose this area, car rental is a must. The towns of the Tramuntana region are going to be the closest to the wedding events, ranging from 15-30 minutes for both evenings.
If you would like a seaside weekend, then we recommend staying in this area west of Palma, between Cala Major and Portals Nous. The port of Portals is a charming area where there is shopping, plenty of boat rental options and beach restaurants. This area is ~40 minutes away from the wedding events and we will be providing transportation from two hotels listed below.
Palma is a bustling city with a beautiful port, original shopping, and great bars and restaurants to explore. The hotels we are recommending in Palma are all in the charming “Casco Antiguo” centered around the beautiful Cathedral. Palma is around 40 minutes from the wedding events, we will be providing transportation from Passeig des Born. You do not need to rent a car if you stay in Palma. (However if you’d like to access any of the beautiful beaches or calas in the area, we would recommend you do so).
